Introducing the next generation of little champions!

Taken at one week

Twist gave birth to 2-females and 3-males.  All have the traditional 4 white paws and tipped tail.  But each has their own unique collar...  Can't wait to see how they turn out.  More pictures and pedigree of parents will be posted soon.    If interested in getting on the list, please contact me at k9countryclub@dogmail.com

Don't they look ready to perform?

Twist began trialing in AKC in December.   She scored very high in both HRDI and HTDI and was close to a High in Trial.  Little did we realize she was pregnant and would be taking some time off.  She will resume her herding career this spring in both AKC and TSDA.  Twist is very focused on her stock so I will not be working her in any other sport for now. Chase is the ultimate athlete.  He is willing to try anything.  He is in training for agility and shows great speed and focus.  He is already competing in Dock Diving and is currently jumping around 19 feet.  He has also taken to Frisbee.  He is highly bred for herding but I chose to focus his talents in these other sports first.

These 3 boys are still available.

Stripes is very petit and will be a medium to short coat. He is active and loves to be with people... the best tail wagger and kisser of the bunch.

Trident is the biggest of the bunch... Loves to eat, a.k.a. Tank.  His coat is much fuller.  He loves to play and wrestle with the other pups but will also enjoy a nice nap in your arms.

Smudge is ready to take on the world.  He is as heavy as Tri but is a smooth coat so he looks a little smaller.  He is rough and tough and loves to play tag.

In Order of Appearance in to this world:
Stripes - Male - has a beautiful thick white collar and then one black stripe down the center.... go figure! Trident - Male - The only Tri... So far the loudest and most active... every day more red comes out Bubbette - Female - Has the most white on her head... Just like bubba daddy GG - Female - Short for Generic Girl... Smallest of the bunch... just like mom.... no strange markings Smudgy - Male - So far the biggest - Has a black smudge mark on his nose and one tiny white speck on his butt - He's ticklish
At 4 weeks... All puppies have started eating and drinking on their own.  They have all had their nails clipped twice.  They are all starting to potty on paper.  They are becoming very active and are playing well together and with the adult dogs.  They love to play with their tug ropes and other toys.  So far Trident is the fluffiest, then Stipes.  But it looks like all will have short or smooth coats.  Hard to tell this early.

Stripes - Quietest of the bunch.  Not to say he's not active... he loves to play.  He's the only one who wags his tail when you pick him up.  Loves to be with people and adult dogs. Trident - Still very vocal.  One of the first to escape the pen.  Active BUT loves to be held on his back while sleeping.... Just like his daddy... (Calm and loves to be held then on a dime will switch to work, work, work!)

Now named Sadie after her Aunt who recently passed away.  She's smaller than the boys.  The first to escape from the pen and the first to eat on her own... just like daddy (he was the escape artist of his litter.)

GG -Still the Smallest of the bunch ... just like mom, she has petit features....  But don't let that fool you.  She's the top pouncer of the bunch.  She's quick on her feet for being so young. Smudgy - Still ticklish... He is also very vocal.  Very playful, loves his tug rope and new bone.  He was the first to cut teeth.  Still has that great Smudge marking on his nose.
