End of Summer Series

I thought I’d offer a few mini clinics. I think these are so much fun because even though they are short days, everyone watches each other and learns.

I would also be available for private lessons after the clinics or possibly in the evening. Just send me an email at k9countryclub@dogmail.com or through Facebook.

Mental Focus/Use it or Lose…(it)

How important do you think the mental game is in agility? If you can’t seem to get through a trial or practice without saying things like, “I got lost”, or “I don’t know why we can do it at practice but not at a trial” or “I thought I had good mental practice but it’s not working” Then you already know the mental game can be vitally important in your performance.

This topic can be covered for days, so for this short session we will be focusing on a few tools to help you hone in on your mental program. Hear how others get “In the zone” when they are at big events like Nationals or Internationals. Share what you think is holding you back or effecting your performance and take home steps to help you improve.

It may be helpful if you have done the mental management seminar we held here last year or have gone thru Mental Management Systems with the Bassham organization in the past.
(This will Not be a MM system lecture as I am not a certified coach for them, but we will be referencing some of their material). You can get a lot of their materials at K9CC if you want it fast and save on shipping. Otherwise you can order it thru mentalmangament.com

6:30pm to 9:00pm
$40 per person (Includes Coffee, Water, and Sweets)
