Paint Wins Bronze–2012 IFCS World Agility Championships

Well, hard work, dedication, passion, and a lot of nerves all led to a wonderful international agility experience for us. If any of you were following on our Whirlwind Border Collie fan page on Facebook, or on our website you may have read that Paint (with the help of his New Zealand handler, Deb Jackson) took home the Bronze medal in the 2012 IFCS World Agility Championships in the Gamblers Class.

Paint Wins Bronze in Gamblers

That accomplishment was extra special to us because at the start of the week, it looked like Paint was going to have a hard time running for someone else. It was a challenge with Deb’s different handling style and Paint being a mama’s boy for them to get a clean run on Friday. But once again, my dogs prove to me that FOUNDATION is the key to any success in dog training. This is why we spend so much time on helping owners create a solid foundation with their pet in every sport. Paint dug deep and remembered his skills and helped Deb attain a spot on the podium. She had a clean jumpers round too and finished 9th in that class. It was very exciting for all of us.
